Commercial Street
As a real commercial centre the pretty narrow street is mostly overcrowded with people, cars and two wheelers.
It would make perfect sense to make this street to Bangalores first pedestrian area and exlude the vehicles.

Fancy idea not thought out. You need mass transit station or huge car park close by to make a pedestrian only place workable. Brigade Road, with Metro Stations and many bus stops near by would be more practical for this concept.
Well..but Commercial Street is a less than 10 minute walk from MG Road Metro Station. So this public transport could serve the area as well.
