This area has been mainly residential with tree covered streets, parks in many of the layouts, couple of places for worship and good number of schools.
For last several years since the Bangalore metro construction has started, many trees have been chopped along chord road and with increasing connectivity across other layouts, vehicular traffic has increased.
This has affected the beauty and tranquility of this area, increased health hazards and become accident prone place with lots of noise and air pollution. We will have to stop this from becoming worse while trying to bring back the glory of this place
