Rainwater harvesting for landscaped median/dividers
I’d like to see rainwater harvesting implemented at medians/dividers which have plants and trees. I notice that slow moving tractors water the plants in an unscientific manner without any safety precautions for oncoming traffic. A lot of water spills onto the road as well. Thereby wasting precious water and causing inconvenience to general public.
Instead water storage at the median should be implemented in such a way that using this stored water, drip irrigation system in tandem will deliver the water. This not only ensures good water supply to the plants but also saves fuel needed for the tractors, less man-power, no inconvenience to public, no wastage of precious water.
