I would like to see an ORR where designated vehicles ply on their designated speed lanes and honking is kept to a minimum. I would like to propose, if this NGO can take up a campaign where we ply a NGO staff vehicle in the ORR, identify good fellow drivers (some one who is following lane and has displayed good driving manners ), randomly on a weeked and present them with unique stickers for their cars. The stickers should say things like, “I am a sane driver”, “I drive safe” or “I am considerate” along with the NGO branding such as logo. This should be a genuine activity and the distribution should be stringent to ensure brand value for that sticker. We can also tie up with corporate agencies with large number of vehicles and give away recognitions for good driving manners.
