The original name of the city ‘BENGALURU’ was Englishised by the British as ‘Bangalore’. We need to come out of amnesia, regarding the original name of the city. Thankfully, it has been officially changed, now. Public, including Mr.Naresh Narasimhan, need to unlearn and stop ridiculing the use of original Kannada name ‘BENGALURU’ and start using it.
